We are a friendly group of jazz lovers who meet fortnightly in members’ homes. Music played ranges from Louis Armstrong through to the swing bands of the 50s and 60s and beyond. There is a nucleus of members who give regular sessions featuring all aspects of this music and the group is encouraged to discuss and comment on the music played. On other days, members are invited to bring their favourite CDs. We have the benefit of two members providing a video of our favourite bands and musicians, which has added considerably to our enjoyment.
